No audio render in CS 5.5?

Postby karri » Tue Sep 27, 2011 2:45 pm

When I rendered a timeline in PPro CS3 the audio would render and then the video. In CS 5.5, now the audio doesn't render, only the video. Have I missed a setting somewhere?

Thanks.

By default, audio doesn't render when you render video. Normally, that's not a problem. But, it can sometimes affect preview playback if you have a complex project with multiple audio tracks. If you encounter problems or just want to always render audio when you render video, you can change the preferences: Edit>Preferences>General, check the "render audio when rendering video" checkbox at the bottom of the dialog panel.

Oh, thank you so much Bob! I don't have anything complex going on, but that red line glaring at me makes me nervous lol I'll check the box and if I have any trouble now I know where to uncheck it, too.

Thanks for your help :)
