A new 1T TravelStar does not show up under either Computer or Adobe Bridge. (An identical drive does.) I get a message that the device drivers are not installed. The original drive uses the same driver. Device manager indicates one (of two) "Ricoh PCIe Memory Stick Host Controller" has problems and a "Base System Device" on PCI bus 2, device 0 has problems. Drivers not installed. (code 28). Device Manager looks like this regardless of which 1T TravelStar drive is installed: Have to go, I'll be back.

Paz, do you know how to get to the "Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management " and set the drive letter? Could be that the drive letter did not get set. Do you see the drive in Disk management?

Chuck, THANKS! After uninstalling both external drives and restarting the computer I saw only one Memory Stick Host Controller and Device Manager did not indicate it had any problems, nor did the Base System Device show up. I peeked in here, read your post and did some Googling and found a method to get to DISKPART to format the drive so a drive number could be assigned. Looks like all is working now!!!!!! I was afraid some of my RAM had gone bad! Paz
