Any Suggestions

Postby Bubby Grub » Sat Nov 06, 2010 3:23 am

Hi Guys,
I am in the middle of doing up a slide show for the family in memory of my Brother.
I am looking for suggestions on some music mainly centered over childhood photos is my problem, considering childhood was back in the early 1950's
I have Remember When, and Tell Me Bout The Good Old Days, but I can't seem to come up with any for around that time.
Later on in life is no problem, just this part.
Any suggestions and a Good Site for free legal downloads would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Sorry that I can't help with song suggestions but this is a site that I regularly use for songs as the prices are very reasonable. I have been able to find most things that I have been looking for here:-

Are you trying to stay with popular music from the 50's or would you rather have Doo Wop, soul, or Rock and Roll?
There is so much music from that era it is hard to choose what might work without knowing what you are looking for.
Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra had some great music during that time but so did Elvis and many others.

Kevin MacLeod at Incompetech has a few you may like. One is Malt Shop Rock and the other Sock Hop. Royalty free and a nominal donation if you wish.
