I came across this cool website where you can make your own music for your videos by specifying chords, playing style, and tempo. All you really need is a basic understanding of guitar chords. If you don't have that you can just play around or copy chord progressions from real songs, which you can get at http://www.chordie.com/

This is great fun, Ed! A nice, free alternative to programs like Garage Band.

Without any idea what I was doing, I just started pushing buttons and, within a few minutes, I created a Song! Ha!

Ed, I've been playing with ChordStudio, but one thing I'm finding a bit frustrating.

Do you have any control over how it plays the chords? It goes faster or slower -- but it only plays 4 beats of one chord, then 4 beats of the next, etc.

Hard to get a good backbeat going.

Not right now. It says that 3 beat is coming soon though. If you play around with the tempo and style you can speed or slow it up though.
