Music for a new baby.

I am putting together a DVD of my second daughter (born 9th June). Looking for suggestions of music. I have a section with an ultrasound scan at the beginning which has no soundtrack so defiantly needs something.

My preference is for no or few lyrics - but all suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks,

Chris.

On Itunes look up the Golden Book Lullabys. They have a split track version of each so they'll be lyrics free.

With lyrics I suugest
Before You Grow - Faith Hill
Ordinary Miracle - Sarah Mclaughlin
Happy Editing,

Beth

I Knew Your Name Before You Were Born by Bob Carlile--He's the Butterfly Kisses guy. It has a short speaking part. It says something like"Thank You God for my mom and dad. It was used in a school dvd so they cut that part but the way it starts, you ccan do that without messing up the song. It is a short song.

Mood. The overall mood is quiet/gentle and non-intrusive. As our new one is currently 7 weeks old she doesn't do a lot. So I have "sections".

1) Ultrasound Scan
2) First shots after the birth
3) At Home
4) Meeting has big sister
5) Meeting the grand parents etc.

Part one I've used (at the moment) Snowflakes Are Dancing from The Children's Corner Suite by Claude Debussy (Solo Piano)

I need something for 5 - to bring the shots together. There's a lot of background conversation so I want to mask it slightly and fade down for sections with real interaction with her. Hence the request for no words.

Thanks for the suggestions above - looks like I might have to get an i-tunes account :???:

All of these requests for music ... don't forget about our collection of music. I'm fairly certain that we have a couple of slow, piano solos.
