When music makes the video, discuss and recommend soundtracks for specific themes/subjects.

This is a great song that was recommended to me. The artist is Colbie Caillat and she sounds a lot like Edie Brickell (if anyone remembers her ) She has one album and many great songs on the album but 'Bubbly' is a very good song for a slideshow or montage, good stuff Beth, I think you will really like this if you haven't heard it already. It's your kind of music, reminds me of 'Better Together'. Also, if it hasn't been mentioned before, Michael Buble - Everything, is another great song.

Love the Bubbly song. The song is on my daughter's wedding DVD. For the highlight video, Somewhere over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo. Still brings me to tears.
At the ceremony a vocalist from our church with an amazing voice sang When You Say Nothing At All by Alison Krauss, very beautiful and lots of tears in the house for that one.

He was fantastic thats for sure. When I was in Maui last year I picked up several of his albums and his music can be heard constantly on the radio there. So sad that a terrific voice died so young.

My favorite version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow is by Sam Harris. First big winner of Star Search and a Broadway superstar. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Harris_(singer) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZyjSuOrRBw(You can find almost anything on YouTube and Wiki, it is amazing ! )

Hi Chuck,
Just came across this...Of course I love Bubbly in fact I love all her stuff...have the whole album downloaded. Love the Little Things too.
And I also love Michael Buble...use a lot of his stuff in my weddding videos. Used Everything in the full version of the wedding video that I submitted to the contest last year. Was singing it for about 3 months after I finished.
PS - Had the Edie Brickell tape many moons agao...Shooting Rubberbands at the Sky.
Another new music suggestion in Jason Mraz. Hi more popular song is I'm Yours, but I love the lesser known, "Make It Mine" a very good slideshow or video song. Check it out. Let me know what you think.
Happy Editing,
Beth
