Video yearbook Songs

Postby mark hansen » Sat Jan 12, 2008 9:18 am

I showed my family Steve's video yearbook Idea and they loved it! I'm in the middle of making the one for 2007, its lots of fun.

My wife suggested I make one for each year we have been married. Now I have 33 other projects to make, putting the old tape and pictures to a video year book format. So I instantly have 33 video projects on the burners.

I was thinking for the music, I would use the hits for that year, (hopefully that's the music we listen too I don't remember)

Is there a place on the internet where I can go see what the hit songs were for a given year? If the songs were there too, that would be great, but a lot to hope for. Movie themes would be good to, anyone know of a place to see what the hit movies were?

Do a Google search with "Billboard charts 1976" or whatever year you need without italics for music.
Thanks
Richard

Wikipedia has a "Timeline Of Musical Events". You'll have to click each year and scroll way down the pages but it does give you quite a bit of info. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000s_in_music#2000s

This site is used to get information when you rip songs from CDS, for your own personal use of course :)
