When music makes the video, discuss and recommend soundtracks for specific themes/subjects.

Do any of you use this and what is your opinion. I have some - for example the "Romantic" one, which I was using for a slide show, and I found the music fairly drab, like it was just the same thing repeating over and over, not much change.
I think the Smartsound is much better, but of course it is more expensive. Any opinions?

I use Magix Music Maker Deluxe to create the music here at muvipix. I believe the package is around $60.00. It's not real easy to learn, but not too hard either. I looked into Smartsound, but, according to their license, you couldn't "sell" the tracks as your own. With Magix, there's no limitations.

And, of course, don't forget to check on the music in the Muvipix Products area.
There is a wide variety of tones, moods and styles -- and we've licensed the music so you can use it all perfectly legally, even in professional pieces.
As with all of our products, many are free, many can be purchased individually or, for an annual membership fee, you can have unlimited downloads of everything!

Actually, the music is not available on an individual download basis, it is only available to subscribers. And, I use Adobe Soundbooth to create music

I just previewed some of the music, and it sounds very good. This is a great site and resource. I have another question on another note - I'll post in Water Cooler.
