Just a heads up for anybody looking at this camera.
I've had the HV40 in my shopping cart for about 10 days now and the price has dropped to $635.00 from $699.00 at B&H.
And yes I used the link from Muvipix.

Re: HV40
Not sure who sets the pace here .. but I just did the same thing at Amazon. I was checking over my Cart and saw the $635 price as I was getting ready to check out!! And that was after they said the $699 price was guaranteed thru March 31, so I took my time making the decision. If it goes any lower, don't tell me .. I already made my purchase.
Re: HV40I bought mine at around $799, and I'm still happy

Re: HV40
I saw the same thing. I was in no big rush. Now I better buy before it goes back up. Thanks

Re: HV40
Chuck, please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you said in the past that the HV40's 24fps can NOT be edited with Premiere Elements. Is that correct? Re: HV40Premiere Elements can handle 24p but it really isn't made to edit that format.

Re: HV40I paid $900 for my HV20 in 2007 and I'm still very, very happy. It is one of the best purchases I have ever made.
