Canon HV30 vs HV40

Postby Jayell » Mon Feb 15, 2010 11:32 am

I've just about convinced myself that I 'need' a new camcorder .. mine's about 6 years old. Seems like Canon is the flavor of the day .. at least in this community. From my limited research, the HV30 seems to get better reviews. Any reason NOT to go to the HV40?

The HV40 has true 24p where the HV30 has a simulated 24p, but other than that there really isn't much difference. Get the best deal you can on either one and you will be happy, even a HV20 would be worthwhile IMO :)
