AE has the frame blending and have used that a few times. Once was on a timelapse and didn't like the outcome. Some shoot at 720p 60fps and then use the 24p preset. I haven't tried that yet.

Kent, Canon 600d does, you must select NTSC Tv format in the menu.

I found a tutorial about making slow-motion with Sony Vegas with an original trick:

I am getting interesting results with Slowmovideo reducing speed in three steps (50% or 60% depending on how much much the tripod was stable and the subject close) keeping 60fps frame rate.

Actually no, the 600D only shoots up to 30p in 1080 resolution. 60p is in 720p mode or down. The PAL/NTSC settings are regional settings, and changing that will only change the top framerate for 720p to be 50 or 60fps, and for 1080p to be 25 or 30fps. In fact, the only model SLR-style camera that Canon offers that DOES shoot 60p at full 1080 HD resolution (as well as 4K UltraHD) is the "EOS 1D C", which is their Cinema camera that runs for approximately $12,000. A bit too rich for my blood! LOL

In fact, the only interchangeable lens camera in the familiar price range that I've been able to find that shoots Full HD 1080/60p video is Panasonic's GH3, which is a mirrorless, Micro Four-Thirds (MFT) camera. Some beautiful stuff has come from that camera, but I'd have to not only buy the body, but a whole new slew of lenses. Argh!

Sorry Kent, it's tue: it is 60 fps at 1280 (which confused me) x 720 :conf:
Changing the tv format settings to 60 fps for 720 is recognized by Slowmovideo.

It's all good! Admittedly, though, you had me doing a double-take on the specs for that camera.
