User discussion concerning all that's Photoshop Elements (all versions).

Photoshop Elements 10 on Windows 10 PC. With the last Windows 10 update the menu text has gone missing. Anyone know how to fix this? I have checked many search results and haven't found anything that works. This is not a problem in Premiere Elements 10, only Photoshop Elements 10. PSE10 Menu Text Missing.jpg

I assume you've tried a re-install and clearing the preferences. I've also seen some folks on the Adobe Premiere Elements forum complaining Premiere Elements 10 no longer works on Windows 10. Could be a backwards compatibility thing. Or nature's way of telling you it's time to update your 6 year old software.

Given my copy of photoshop elements 8 seems to have no problems I'm surprised 10 has issues. Have you got custom DPI scaling? I.e. "change the size of text apps and other items" to anyhting apart from 100% in the display settings?

Steve, if I didn't like version 10 so much and if Adobe would quit taking away features and functionality that I still use it would be easy to just move to the next version I have version 14 and 15 but revert back to version 10 regularly, mostly Premiere Elements but also Photoshop Elements. Importing from my scanner is no longer supported in the recent versions, that's just one reason Chris, thanks, I will double check but there are no issues with any other programs including Premiere Elements 10....

As a side note, this was working perfectly until the Windows 10 Creators update recently...

That makes me a little nervous. My desktop is getting ready to install the Creators update soon.

Yikes I hope they've ironed out the worst bugs since the earlier releases. I really dislike the whole Win 10 forced updates thing. But we've been through this before.
