'Mouse-over' text

Postby stanatou » Mon Nov 05, 2012 10:27 pm

I'm working on some old family photos and want to email some to family members. I'm using Photoshop Elements V6 and would like to add some text that is visible only when the user moves the cursor over the photo. Or maybe they could click the image and the text would appear? Is something like this possible with V6? V11?

No, but there are applications out there that can do that.
You might try a Google search.

Adobe Flash might be able to do that.

You can do that in HTML for a webpage and considering that email can be HTML I would think it could be possible. Only problem would be anyone that does not receive HTML email, which many people don't, would not get the images embedded in the email anyway.

I think Captivate and Camtasia might be able to do that also but then you would be creating more of a slideshow.

Maybe just send them a slideshow with titles or create a web page if you are able to do that?

Thanks, guys. After looking at what I could find, it sounds like it's a bit beyond my talent level... :conf: I'll probably just send a description of each photo in the email.
