Organizer Edit Preferences

Postby gail spiro » Mon Nov 07, 2011 3:10 pm

Ok- I seem to be the problem queen today. Now my PE6 organizer is misbehaving. I'm trying to select edit/preferences, but every time I do, it causes the organizer to crash and shows the "sorry- must shut down" message. I've tried re starting and also using keyboard shortcuts, but can't get preferences to open.
any suggestions/
Thanks- I owe all of you a bottle of scotch! or something!

You might need to manually delete (or rename) the Preferences file for the Organizer because the Ctrl-Alt-Shift approach to delete Prefernces does not always work for the Organizer in all versions of PSE.

The Preferences will be under your Windows Userid structure and will require that you make Windows Hidden files visible. If you have Windows XP this will be under Documents and Settings for your Windows userid.

(Unfortunately it seems that Adobe has removed previously existing troubleshooting files for older versions like PSE 6, so I can't find a specific Adobe document document with detailed info.)
