PE 5 Slideshow

Postby StacyB » Sun Jan 06, 2008 3:26 pm

Thanks for this forum.

I have several large slideshows configured in Photoshop Elements 5.0 (PE5).

Is there a program available into which I can import these slide shows from PE5 unchanged, then use the program to burn to DVD? The slide shows are huge and I don't want to redo them. Will ProShow Gold do this?

Well, you can put the slideshow in Premiere Elements and it will burn your slideshow to DVD, at video quality, but it's recommended that those photos be no larger than 1000x750 pixels in size each.

Or you can do your slideshow in Pro Show Gold -- but you'll end up re-doing all your work, since there's no program (beside Premiere Elements) that you can transfer your work from.

I would export the slide show to Premiere Elements and give it a shot. But like Steve said, the preferred size for photos in Premiere Elements is 100 x 750.

if you are lucky, your only issue will be a very long rendering time.

oops typo - preferred size is 1000x750, not 100x750
