Members and Moderators - We Need Your Help :)

Postby Chuck Engels » Fri Mar 06, 2009 11:04 am

Hi Everyone !!
We are putting together a little revamp to the web site, very nice, very cool, you will all love it.
Probably won't be in place for awhile but Ron is very busy trying to get everything ready.
We also have anniversary stuff coming up, new stuff and the video contest, so he is very busy - Go Ron !!

What we need is some samples from our members. Samples of how you use the music and motion backgrounds that you get here.
Just a 10 second clip, or a 30 second clip, in FLV or WMV format at 640 x 480 would be super.
Something that demonstrates the possible uses for the music and backgrounds and how they can enhance a video or slideshow.
Not a tutorial, just a visual of what someone can accomplish :)

Anything you can put together would be great, we want to show off some of your stuff to potential members and subscribers.
You can upload them to the gallery or email them to me, either way is fine just let me know where to find it.

As always, thanks for the help :TU:

I have 5 opening titles using motion backgrounds & Muvipix music that I can share. Do you want them in one file or should I upload them separate?

The music used in my PSA from a while ago is Ron's. Adds quite a bit to the opening, IMHO.

Very good Jennifer, what size and format is that in the gallery? Can we possibly get a copy with just the intro only?

I'm pretty sure it's 640 by 480 already, and it's wmv. I'll cut it down to the intro and put it up there this weekend. ::C

Uploaded 5 titles:

***links removed - no longer exists. - Updated links are here - viewtopic.php?f=17&t=4946&start=15#p43700

If this isn't what you are looking for, I can make some changes. The files were deinterlaced & square pixels, not sure how good it looks. I can change the settings if you wish.

Cheryl, I did add the size to the file info.
It is best when uploading to be sure and enter the video size/dimensions, that way it displays correctly.

The last one is perfect, the others are much lesser quality. Did you use a different preset or change something that would make them so drastically different in quality?

I will check. Maybe it should be .09 instead of square pixels?

I had one easily at hand from my wife's birthday video. I'm sure I could come up with others if you need them.

Not sure what in the heck I did. The last file was created and the other files were saved DV-AVI files. Looked around the media encoder and can't figure things out....Need Help please.

I exported Title 2version2 from PrEl with the default wmv settings and changed the WxH. Looks like the only diff in settings from Pro to PrEl is the average bit rate is 448 in PrEl and in Pro is 200. What is the best output in Pro?

Here is the Title 2version2 and I will upload the others the same way if this one looks okay:

Cheryl, that new one looks significantly better than the first version you posted.

I agree with Dick, that one is much better than the first, still not as good as the last one in your list but much better.
We can go with that if you can redo the rest please :)

Thanks for all the great stuff and the help everyone =D>
