Chuck, thanks for Learning Series Multi-Track Transitions (PE7 part 1). Your lesson makes it so much easier to add transitions if the photos are on two tracks. I had been moving the clip from the upper track to the lower track so the clips would be together and then apply the transition.
You also said something that I had not known before: at 2:11 you said when you extended the clip by frames… I already knew how to read the hours, minutes and seconds… but I never knew what the ending number was… now I know, it’s frames! So thank you so very much!
I've download Multi-Track Transitions (PE7 part 2) but when I try to extract it I get an error message: The Compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted. I've download twice. When I try to view it online, all I see is a black screen.

Thanks Cinde, glad the tutorials are helpful I'm sure Ron will take care of the corrupt zip file and let us know when it is fixed

Hi Cinde, there's nothing wrong with the ZIP file. Something may have happened during the download that corrupted the file. Try downloading it again. I did fix the online version.

Ron, the 3rd download was successful. Great tut on how to add transitions between videos on multiple time lines. And for those of you who haven't viewed Chuck's Learning Series and the Quick Tips .. there's an unexpected treat at the end of each one that I have viewed or downloaded...

Thanks for the new content, looks superb like always. Chuck, I have a quick question for you. In the second tutorial about transititions, you split the clip each time and lower the opacity on the split clip and the ones you don't need when you change clips. When I have multiple video tracks, I normally use keyframing to change the opacity between the clips and I don't split the clips. The key framing is overlapped on the clips and it cross dissolves nicely for me. I was wondering is there any advantage to doing it your way and splitting the clips, besides being able to apply other types of transitions. I am keen to learn the most efficient way to work with multiple clips as I seem to have them in my projects quite a bit. Helen

There is almost always more than one way to do something Helen, your way is just fine

Had a chance to view the new stuff. Thanks very much for the stock video! Seems like Ron has a song for everyone, my favorite is When We Met. Used your music quite a bit on DVD menu, titles, intro, ending and received a lot of compliments. Sometimes I use different parts of the same song and that way it sounds like a similar but different song. One question, Is that you Ron rapping? Not into rap, but very good job!
Like Cinde & Helen, I thought the multi-track editing Tutorial was very good and interesting to see how someone actually does it. Learn something new everytime!
