I finally heard from Chuck last night, who's just come home.
After a second procedure to drain the area around his lung, he underwent an additional procedure that involved scraping the lung so that it grows to the pleura, the skin that encases the lung, to prevent fluid from building up in this area again.
Needless to say, it was a very painful surgery and, between that and the drugs to relieve the pain, he was pretty miserable for several days there. He finally came home on Monday, but didn't start feeling like his old self until last night.
So it's been a rough road for him, but I'm sure we're start seeing his presence again here soon. Meantime, he is monitoring the forum and wanted you all to know how much he appreciates the prayers and good wishes.
We also had a chance to discuss the video contest and put together a list of winners (which was not easy, considering the abundance of talent on display!).
We'll be announcing our winners soon! Thanks again for your patience and concern.

I am happy to hear that you are doing better Chuck. From the brief hospital stays I have had, it helps so much to get home! Take good care of yourself, and I look forward to seeing you back on the forum!

Chuck, So glad you are on the mend. I was worried not hearing any news for a while (or seeing you in the recent visitors). Keeping getting better and stronger. Best, Beth

And, of course, Cheryl. I'm dying to know where the clip is from. It looks very Preson Sturges-y.

Move is One Two Three with James Cagney. That is one of my favorite scenes. Just happened to record the movie a week ago . It took about an hour that is why the scale and keyframing is not that smooth. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055256/Chuck very happy to hear you are home recovering!

Thank you all once again Great work Cheryl, loved the video and thanks for taking the time to give us all a much needed laugh. I have had great people around me through this whole thing, especially my wife. All of you here cheering me on has been a wonderful blessing as well. I even ended up with a video job while I was in the hospital; growing up slideshow for a wedding rehearsal dinner. That should be enough to pay for my wife's parking for the 12 days I spent in the hospital My daughter and I are also working on 3 wedding videos, one of them is HDV too.

Can't believe you were in the hospital lining up projects! You have the part about the parking right. Hope Mrs. Chuck is resting up too from all those trips to the hospital. Sounds like you both need a nice vacation soon!
