A short clip from Flat Stanley. Masked in AE. This could be done in PrEl with a garbage matte, but then to feather would be better to us a feathered matte. Composite of 4 clips.

Re: A clip from Flat StanleyThe seams are taken care of by the feather of the mask. Can you tell where the 4th clip is?

Re: A clip from Flat StanleyLooks good, did notice a little problem at about the 11 ~ 12 sec point with your left arm moving in front of the chair.
Re: A clip from Flat Stanley
Good eye! I thought about rotoscoping those few frames, but need to get this project done. Didn't think it was that noticeable. I'll post some screen shots later of the masks. aka Cheryl

Re: A clip from Flat Stanley
Its not, was actually looking for where the 4th clip is?
Re: A clip from Flat StanleyGood to know rfg. I read an article that asked when is a project finished. I tend to tweak a project too much. This project is for a class of 7yos and hopefully none will say that I should have rotoscoped. Guess I am safe unless there is a Muvipixer's kid in that class.

Re: A clip from Flat StanleyExcellent work Mom very very nice,......and nice house too
Just the mere mention of Flat Stanley in January gets my editing fingers twitching and thus begins the jones-ing for the annual Muvipix contest.....Gasp did I say that out loud....E-Gahds... Re: A clip from Flat StanleyI'll have to get a pickle. Maybe that was what she was looking for. And Sidd could host a Flat Stanley meet up! I mailed mine back today.
Here are the screen shots. The shadows were different from clip 1 to clip 2 and there was a noticeable jump. Took a freeze frame of clip 2 to take care of the problem. This was the layer order: Layer 1: Clip 3 Layer 2: Clip 2 Layer 3: Clip 1 Layer 4: Freeze frame of Clip 2 Note: The mask colors can be changed by clicking on the color box next to masks in the layer panel. Or under Preferences>Appearance> check box "Cycle Mask Colors". You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. aka Cheryl
