Here's on I did this weekend for monthlyDV ( http://monthlydv.blogspot.com/ ). I probably should have spent more time lining up the video to the eye, but it was very tedious and I got tired of playing around with it.

Thanks.

creepy - hmm...I was going for pensive, eerie, slightly melancholy and a little etheral. Why did you find it creepy Steve, the close up of the eye, the music, the subject matter reflected or something else?

It's probably just a personal association on my part, ed.

After all, this person used to scare the heck out of me!

Very Cool Ed I like the way that it was your real eye and not just a picture of the eye.

My only comment would be to maybe make the images go faster as the video progresses. But still very very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Good point sidd. I played around with speed a little, but in the end decided to do it pretty straight. I only had last weekend to work on it, and getting and converting the news/event clips took a long time, so I got a little lazy towards the end.

What if you start a little farther away and slowly zoom in (or Scale in) on the eye until the imagery in the pupil takes over the whole screen?

That way it builds in intensity.

I actually put a version together of that, but didn't like it as much as having the eye stay the same size.
