Ever eager to volunteer for anything, I found myself this morning speaking in front of 9,000 bicyclists, introducing the Senior Vice President of Miller Brewing, who was kicking off Milwaukee's biggest charity bike ride. Here's me, trying my best not to look and sound like Gomer Pyle. http://muvipix.com/cpg/albums/userpics/ ... orArts.wmv

You know, Miller Brewing being in Milwaukee is about the only fact I knew about Milwaukee, so pleased to see them involved. Looks like a not too big a CBD with some nice old buildings, which is certainly my preference.

Way to go Steve. At first I thought you were going to have Harley Davidson and be part of Rolling Thunder....

Thanks, guys!
BTW, Milwaukee is home not only to MIller Brewing and Harley-Davidson but also Master Lock, Koss Electronics, Manpower, Northwestern Mutual, Midwest Airlines, Briggs & Stratton and Kohl's Department Stores. And, with a population of about 650,000, it's big enough to be a major center for business and the arts and yet small enough that you can get from any place to any place else in town within about 20 minutes. And I can bicycle to work downtown from just outside of town in about half an hour.
If it weren't for those bitter winters, it would be just about perfect!
