Cloudburst Cacophony

Postby theOZer » Tue Jun 16, 2015 9:53 am

[OZer note: Once again, while perusing Steve's MSP13 tome, this time Audio the subject, I get carried away a bit.]
Staggered by quarter-second and half-second delays, I layered six off-timed audio tracks to create this sonic cloudburst cacophony.

That's actually kind of cool, OZer. A little like sitting on the front porch and watching it rain. Except with bees.

Cool audio effect. Doesn't PrEl have a time delay audio? I think there is one for video.

Steve, Watching bees has therapeutic value. I scraped "Cacoph" off my vid "Colorado Cloudburst Foragers Scurry Home" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5pPF3E1D_M).
Cheryl, I wasn't smart/sharp enough to utilize the audio manipulation tools available in MSP13. I just did overlay samplings, time-delay staggering them until I liked the mix, then put on another sound track layer, etc., until it just became "noise," then backed off.
