That looks like a very nice one. I am looking for legs too that will support the IndiSlider. My cheap tripod wobbles with the slider. Hopefully, by spring I will be able to get one.

Wow Cheryl, I just got around to watching this. Absolutely professional quality. The footage is great, but your vision in pulling it all together with the magic of AE is amazing. The music was a perfect choice. I wish I could make videos like that!!

Thanks Ron! I love to experiment in AE. The vision isn't always there. I looked at this footage since Oct. and started to edit, but didn't get the idea until much later. I have experiments in AE that will never see the light of day. :)

Slices is right. This is wonderful, Mom! Your choice of music is perfect too. A little on the melancholy side, as fall should be.

I especially liked the way your time lapse of the far shore turned slowly to the left. Neat trick. How long did the time lapse last and did you turn the camera on tripod a little at the time every now and then?

Love the way you've gone out of focus at the end of some segments. Did you do that with the camera or with software?

Thanks Paz! The timelapse of the lake was shot Jpeg Large 5184x3456 so plenty of room in post to add scale and position keyframes in a 720p comp in AE.

The focus pulling on some of the clips was done in camera. I do a few practice ones first because I forget which way to turn and since I am shooting blind I take note of where my lens should end up on the turn. Shooting blind because outside I can't see the screen, may get a loupe sometime.

Sorry, I still don't understand all the video terms. Are you saying you did not pan, or move the camera to look toward the left? That you shot straight ahead the whole time, then in software, made it appear that the camera had 'looked' toward the left?

Yes. The timelapse was taken with the camera stationary on a tripod. In post (AE) I placed the photo sequence of 5184x3456 in a 720p comp (1280x720). Had plenty of room to pan the position from left to right and zoom the scale.

Anytime Paz :-D Not sure if you noticed, but my horizon wasn't level on the tripod. Rotated the file about 2 degrees in AE. Shooting big allowed plenty of room for rotation. :)

>>horizon level

Oh! Don't mention it! One of the things that drives me mad!

Mom, does your digital SLR have an HDMI connection?

Yes, it does have an HDMI connection.

The horizon wasn't too level because it was biting cold that day so quickly the best I could set up and then sat in the car during the time lapse. I have since bought some gloves with no fingers and a flap that goes over.

Ha! Yes, I too have hobo gloves! I also have some super warm, wool, open end mittens my DDIL knitted for me. Not exactly fashionista, but really wonderful for working outdoors in the cold.

Okay, I"m going to see if I can put something together for you.

Really nice, Cheryl! Love the effects. As Chuck mentioned, I was anxiously anticipating what was coming next.
