PE10_AVCHD to disc

Postby hpharley90 » Sat Jan 20, 2024 6:41 pm

Back in 2011 I was using my Canon HV40 to video my young daughters and I would take the mt2 file captured with HDV capture and split and bring into Premiere Elements 10.0 and edit and add menu and chapter.
Then I would use PE10. to burn AVCHD to a DVD-R.
I made 35 discs in this manner and I watch On my Sony blue ray player hooked to tv via HDMI.
I want to share the content on my discs with other family members in high def format.
I have PE 2021.
How can I do this?
I suggested they buy blue ray players and I can copy my 35 discs to DVD-R so they can have same high def I do.
But I see just now PE 2021 will not burn AVCHD to disc.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Richard

If you've got the original project files and video, you can output from Premiere Elements as 1920x1080 MP4s. You'll have to use a third-party program to create BluRay discs.

But you won't' be able to produce HD video from your DVD files since DVDs are standard definition.
