A Day at the Bird Feeder

Those little hummingbirds are so much fun to watch, and very territorial with each other.

You got a bird's eye view of the hummers (pun intended :whew: ) My favorite past time is watching the hummers, cardinals, small birds and a few woodpeckers in the back yard feeders.

thanks Sidd. It was high ISO and had to denoise. Have you seen those camera bird feeders? I wonder how they work and worth it.

They almost look like a feeder with an insta360 go camera.

I need something like this:

I am guessing that the feeders must be on the hummingbirds migratory route and they are exhausted and hungry. My understanding is that they are normally very territorial and and fight for dominance of the feeder (males). But cool to see so many together. We have about 4 or 5 in our neighborhood and they feed every couple of hours. The females are pretty smart that they feed at times when the males are gone so they do not get chased off.

Great videos and photos. I don't have a feeder up for the hummingbirds, but they come around for the flowers and tree blossoms. There was a nest of them in my neighbors yard.
