Does the B stand for Bob? 1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.
2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.
Re: photo album openingIf memory serves (and amnesia has not set in) it was Chris who posted the oiginal instructions about how to achieve the "page opening effect" using the Basic 3D video effect.
Maybe, Chris, time to update the instructions (?) now that things have moved on and new tools have become available. AMD Ryzen 3900x 12C/24T, ASUS x570 mobo, Arctic Liquid Freezer ll 280, Win11 64 bit, 64GB RAM, Radeon RX 570 graphics, Samsung 500GB NVMe 980 PRO (C:), Samsung 970 Evo SSD (D:), Dell U2717D Monitor, Synology DS412+ 8TB NAS, Adobe CS6.
Re: photo album openingI might be up for that - but the node graph (which is probably not optimal as I'm still learning) has a reasonable number of elements.
I'm thinking I might want to do a "book" rather than a photo album - but I'm not quite sure how to make it work yet. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. Intel Core i7 8700 - 32GB DDR4 - 500GB Evo 970 SSD - 3+2 TB HDD - GTX 1080- MSI Z370 Pro - Win10 64 bit - Cannon HV30 (PAL) - Sony A6000 - GoPro 3 Black
Re: photo album openingThe Fusion 9 version is awesome. I've compared these two to the one I did in PRE 2018 and though they are better, I don't see how to download them to use. Thanks for the help. I started to redo mine following the instructions on the first posted video. it wasn't working right and the time to correct didn't seem worth the quality increase (which my wife couldn't even notice). This latest clip from Fusion 9 however, is a big difference.
Re: photo album openingThe reason Fusion 9 did such a good job is that it's a visual effects / composite editor. It's especially designed to create outstanding visual effects and incorporates support for 3D models. The Adobe equivalent software would be After Effects. Premiere Elements is not a visual effects editor. It's main function is to assemble sequences of video clips into a complete movie. While it does have some rudimentary features for basic visual effects, that's not its strength. Likewise, visual effect editors are strong in special effects, they are not designed to assemble a complete movie together. Visual effects editors and sequence editors are complementary to each other.
Re: photo album openingInterestingly the next version of Resolve (version 15 - currently in Beta) includes Fusion within it, although the system requirements seem to have taken another jump.
