Flying the Rosegarden

Postby sidd finch » Mon Jul 09, 2018 1:40 pm

Summer my favorite time of year and one of my favorite things is to record the Roses at the local Rosegarden. The colors are so vibrant and the smell of roses permeates the air. A tiny slice of heaven to enjoy each summer. For me it is a fun place to practice capturing the essence of the roses blooming. This year tried to do it with the Spark. For some reason the link is still not working so I posted the url below.

I can't get over how steady that drone hovers. You're a pro.

Thank you. It is more the drone than me. Flying in straight lines really helps. The gimbal does a great job to keep things smooth.

Thank you Steve. That little drone can get some pretty cool shots. I am still in the beginner phase but it is a lot of fun. I guess the biggest challenge is trying to fly a straight line so the aircraft does not veer off course. I have not really tried to pan curve and fly.....

Sidd, I think you were born to fly. So silky smooth. Your roses are looking lovely this year.

Next rose garden video, work the flying remote while floating on a raft in your pool. :fg:
