Kaleidoscope effect

Talk about the advent of Drone photography and video.

Kaleidoscope effect

Postby sidd finch » Thu Sep 21, 2017 5:07 pm

It took me a couple of viewings to appreciate this one, but they used a drone to create a kaleidoscope effect. So more in the editing of it than the actual footage shot.

There you go Sidd. Pretty straightforward to do once you've got the drone footage.

ahhh the footage.... its always something :conf:

I am starting to develop a real dislike of the Drone selfie. It is cumbersome at best. Specifically the "hey I am standing with my controller so you can see the shot of me looking at my controller" - watching grass grow can be more exciting. :ha:

I agree. The effect could be done with any drone footage, of course. To me the whole selfie thing is alien. Getting old I guess.

That sounds like it might be a good macro time lapse project, Sidd. ;)
