Wow, thanks Lee. Got them all downloaded for when I get my office back together again.
It is a bit of a mess at the moment and I am trying to finish a wedding video. The Encore project and the graphics were all on my dead Dell 8400. I've been swapping drives all morning and finally got everything onto my Precision 490.
Once the DVDs are burned I can start re-arranging the office and getting all of my programs onto the Precision, hope it doesn't mess anything up. I had kept the Precision just for editing with limited internet access, now I will have to use it for everyting, at least temporarily.

Hope you get everything sorted, Chuck It must be a nightmare to keep swapping drives and the pressure of having a wedding to complete. This all gets me thinking of further backups, checking the PC internals and making sure that if such things happen to me then I will be prepared (fingers crossed)! I should really have a spare PC system like you and other forum members have. Now that is smart thinking, and sure takes the strain off just one PC doing everything Lee

Thanks for the info on the plug in. Neat effect! I can see a slow transition from the original photo to the dreamy one for the end of show.

Thank you for the links.
Along the lines of the "Dreamy" plug-in for PS, I've been looking for either a plug-in or preset to create somewhat the same thing in Premiere Pro. I've done a bunch of "Feather Edge," and "Gaussian Blurs," but have never quite gotten what I had in my mind. I'm still working on this and have also tried to do some of it in AfterEffects. I would imagine that the "dream look," would be popular in wedding video editing, but so far no one has pointed me in the right direction. If someone has some suggestions, please share these. While freeware is OK, I do not mind paying for a set of Effects to accomplish this. Have looked at Red Giant's Looks and at Boris' various suites, but none seems to have what I'm looking for. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Hunt

Bill, I know exactly what you're talking about. I was working on a wedding vid myself and was looking for the same effect and never did fine one. However, I did find this tutorial that helped me get close to the effect I wanted. I know you said that you have gotten close using Premiere and AE, but figured maybe it could be useful. http://www.wrigleyvideo.com/videotutori ... thface.htm

Red Giants Magic Bullet Looks 1.1 can create this effect... it may not have it as a preset but it can be created fairly easily. You can control/adjust the subject, matte, lens, camera, and post in order to create such an effect. Other plugin might by Vitascene from ProDad... Chuck just purchased it perhaps he can comment.

VitaScene has a preset for dreamy/blur effects and masks, very nice, very easy and quick. I used it on a wedding video this week and will post a sample as soon as I can.

Try the technique in this thread, Bill. It might give you the effect you're looking for...

Lee thanks for the links. Only thing I don't know is where to put font. I know how to use the dream effect but am stumped on where to put font. Thanks Rich Edit: I figured it out after I read the how to install font.
Thanks Richard
