Borders around video

Postby SteveinVA » Tue Apr 01, 2008 3:36 pm

Hello all:

I have shrunk down some video and pictures and layed them over a motion background....the pictures look fine but I have some noise around the edges of the video portions...does anyone have any recommendations for borders I can put around the video?

Thanks for your help in advance.

The clip effect is I think what you're looking for. Otherwise you could try using a psd with a frame (with a transparent background). Bring it into premiere elments and put it on a track above the clip. Then final step would be to size accordinly.

Either the Clip or Crop Effect, the Clip Effect will add a colored frame around the video, you might just want to crop it seeing you already have a motion background.

You might also want to try softening the edges of the pictures before bringing them into your video, this may help and you might not even need a frame. What do you think Jamal?

Good thinking Marc, that seems like it could also solve the problem.
