All I can say is to send Adobe a letter as many others are doing.
I read in another forum that many US customers are not happy with this and other countires are doing the same!

Before Christmas Adobe did the same with Premiere Pro CS3... but only in the US. We didn't get the offer here in Europe. I received the Photoshop half price deal also a few days ago.
