Eliminate or Mitigate Interference Lines from Taped TV ShowIs there any way in Premiere Elements 13 to eliminate or mitigate snowy interference lines at the top of a TV show that I taped a while ago using my VCR? Thanks.
Re: Eliminate or Mitigate Interference Lines from Taped TV SProbably not without losing some content. You could zoom the clip until the lines disappear, but of course you'd lose an equal amount of the clip from the remaining sides, too. Or you could crop the offending part from the top and have just a black bar at the top, but that might be just as bothersome as the original problem.

Re: Eliminate or Mitigate Interference Lines from Taped TV SVery common problem with VHS tapes. I've used both of the suggestions from Dave and was happy with the results.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.
2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.
Re: Eliminate or Mitigate Interference Lines from Taped TV SAs an afterthought...
If you crop the offending part off you could then move the remainder up to the middle of the screen, vertically, which would give black bars on both top and bottom. It would have a look similar to a widescreen theater format. Be yourself; everyone else is taken.
