Re: December SunriseVery nice. I like "recyclable" video. Crop out the foreground and the moving clouds would make a very nice motion background.

Re: December SunriseAnd a lot of fun too !
I wonder how would my evenings spent listening and music dreaming on the record covers be if I could switch to presentations like this now and then.
Re: December SunriseThank you for the kind words.
I always thought that time lapse was a huge hassle but using the GoPro Studio to manage the stills is pretty easy. It encourages me to try more time lapse.
Sure. Camera = GPH4B settings are: Mode: Night Lapse Shutter: Auto Interval: Continuous 12 MP Spot Meter: Off Pro Tune: On White Balance 3000K Color: GoPro Iso: 800
That is a cool Idea. When I watched the final project the clouds gave me a sense of watching Monet colors. Sidd "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." ..... Ferris Bueller
Re: December SunriseThanks Sidd, have to try that. I'm still getting used to my new gopro. So many more settings...

Re: December Sunrise
I have found that using the smartphone app is really helpful trying to learn the settings. You get more of a sense of what is in each menu instead of trying to scroll through the camera. You can also use the smartphone app to create your settings quicker. BTW what model GP did you get? Sidd "Life moves pretty fast. Re: December SunriseThanks for the tips Sidd. My husband had a lot of credit card points available to redeem . He let me choose what to get. It was hard for me to make a decision - GP Hero 4 black or silver. I chose the silver because of the build-in lcd display. I also have a Hero 3 silver and I bought the clip-on display. It makes the camera quite bulky. I'm not sure if I made the right decision to get the silver and not the black. But he has some more points to redeem

Dear Santa, AMD Ryzen 3900x 12C/24T, ASUS x570 mobo, Arctic Liquid Freezer ll 280, Win11 64 bit, 64GB RAM, Radeon RX 570 graphics, Samsung 500GB NVMe 980 PRO (C:), Samsung 970 Evo SSD (D:), Dell U2717D Monitor, Synology DS412+ 8TB NAS, Adobe CS6.
Re: December SunriseI was on the fence regarding the model too. But from having used a Flip camera with a screen on the back, I feel the screen is best used for framing the shot. Detail is difficult with my eyesight. Since the smartphone can be used as a portable monitor I chose the Black since it had increased functionality.
FYI for those interested in getting your foot wet the GPH Session is on sale for $199. The camera is comparable to a GoPro Hero 3 White camera. Sidd "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." ..... Ferris Bueller
Re: December SunriseFabulous sunset, Sidd! Wonderful time lapse capture.
I didn't know you have vision problems. You're right, a phone, tablet or field monitor can make all the difference. Lenovo W70l; 1.6 GHz, i7 quad core, Win 7, 64 bit, 16 gigs DDR-3 RAM; NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800; Two 1T 7200 internal drives; BluRay burner
Re: December SunriseBeautiful sunrise captured Sidd! Thanks very much for posting your settings. Would the same settings work for a sunset?
