I stumbled on this video by Jeff Morris today. It shows why I love living in San Diego. At around 1:58 min you see a flyover the famous Salk Institute, where I worked for 3 years when I first came to San Diego, 25 years ago. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Filmed with a Quadcopter and GoPro.

Excellent video. I especially liked the pan through the trees with the sunlight filtering in excellent.

Beautiful county, beautifully filmed. What's up with the house hanging off the top of the building at 3:10?

The guy has a couple more videos on Vimeo worth watching. What's up with the house hanging off the top of the building at 3:10?

I figured it had to be something like that. Thanks for the explanation and the link. That's what you really call a room with a view.

We were once on our way to San Diego but things didn't work out. Around 1968 or so. This makes me even more sorry!
Beautiful footage.
Still quad copter drooling,
