Puppy Time lapse

Postby momoffduty » Wed Feb 19, 2014 3:11 pm

A time lapse of our 2 pups. When we are away they are locked in the sunroom. Not too much damage this time because I was only gone about 1 hour 30 minutes. When we are away for several hours the whole room is tossed with toys, the bed chewed up which I sew the repairs, the potted plant dug into and the runner rug chewed. This is the 2nd rug this month. He likes to chew the binding off first then proceeds to shred the remainder.

2375 photos at 2 second intervals.

Fun seeing them play "musical nap spots." Typical dog - a whole pile of toys and he'd rather chew up the rug. ;)

That was cute. It was interesting to see what dogs do when left to themselves...mostly sleep. :)

What did you use to batch edit the photos? Lightroom? Photoshop? Other?

Yes, musical nap spots. :) There is a basket full of toys in the corner and the rug must taste better.

This was made in AE. Imported the photos as an image sequence. Very easy. Import box and then select the first photo and image sequence. The files are 1 frame each.

This would be very easy in PrPro or PrEl. First change the default for a photo from 5 seconds to 1 frame in the preferences. Import the folder. Place folder on timeline.

I like this a lot, Cheryl! I've always wondered what dogs do when we're not home.

Set up a camera Steve and watch your dogs! :) After doing time lapses last year with the t4i, the GoPro is super easy to set the time and go.

We don't have a dog anymore. But I do kind of wonder what my fish are up to when I'm not home...

WHAT a fun video, Mom!!! Gnaw the rug, drag the bed around, look out the door, swap beds, gnaw the rug ... "Where IS she???" They're so cute.

Can't begin to tell you how much I covet that room! Such light! Big enough for an easel! I'd live in there.

We don't have a dog anymore. But I do kind of wonder what my fish are up to when I'm not home...

lol, Steve! What do ya think they do???

I'm so fed up with my computer at the moment. So nice to be able to come here and have some fun! :TU:

Thanks Paz! They are Momma's boys. If I go to the mailbox and come back in they act like I have been gone hours. The sunroom appears larger in the video due to the Wide setting. The sun in the room is nice in the winter. In the summer it is partially shaded from a large tree.
