The NOVO professional camera

No it is not a Disney moment….but close. What if you could have the best of a DSLR but the size of a GoPro…..Introducing the Novo the best of both worlds.

I agree. Gorgeous stuff!

I couldn't find the camera for sale yet though. Any idea what it will cost?

From everything I have seen it looks like you have to live in the LA area and rent the thing. Quite expensive on the rental. I would guess that they are trying to gauge the demand but it seems like a freebie idea to anyone you could take the idea and mass market the product. Since it is a GoPro inside I do not know if there are any legal issues with re-sale. Given that GoPro has deeper pockets they could take the idea and run with it. It would be nice to see if this was something the general public could purchase.

That brushless gimbal looks good! Sidd, quit posting stuff I can't buy! Just kidding, enjoying the dreams. I wonder if I will wake up in 5 years or maybe even 2 and realize that all my gear is old school? Maybe time to just give up editing.

I'm much more worried about waking up in a few years an realizing that I'm old school! Wait, I think that may have already happened. :-8

:hyst: Dave, Dave, Dave...are you hitting the N2O again?? Hey, my knee sometimes feels old school! I was on my knees yesterday shooting video for my fall project and then it occurred to me on how I was going to get up gracefully. There were other tourist around and I probably did embarrass myself and hopefully they were not taking video. Shoot, I better go check UT.

I am in that same club too. Which is why I put all cameras on a monopod and use those way down low. Easier to rotate the footage than have to ask for help getting back up.

Oh! Drool !

Looks like NObody can buy it, Mom! The gimbal thingy is as impressive as the camera. Maybe more. I wonder if it is all universal joints or if there is an electric gyroscope in that get up somewhere. So cool.

I looked it up and it is a brushless gimble which is electronic. There are versions for about $150 on e-bay

I really like that gimble and that is a darn good price.
I would have thought that something that worked that well would cost thousands.
Thanks
Richard

I am sure that they would have a size based on the camera weight. I need to look to see if this could be a DIY project and build one.
