Specific to Premiere Elements Version 11.

Hi -
I have downloaded several of the HD motion backgrounds and motion elements. After extracting from the zip file, they all indicate "MOV File" in Win Explorer, but some get the following pop-up error from PRE11 when attempting to add into a project: "Add media failure vbme0379.mov ...The importer reported a generic error."
Worked: HD video background: golf hd0127 and hd0906 Not working: tvbhd027, tvbhdhd041, vbme0379
I used the same download / save-as process for each.
Any Suggestions?

Hi Lafayette ! Sorry you are having problems with the downloads. Do you have the most current version of Quicktime installed?
Also, can you please give us a link to at least one of the downloads that did not work for you?

Also, have you made sure to Extract each file before you try to use it? Many of our downloads are zipped files and you won't be able to use them until you right-click and select the option to Extract File. (Even if Windows does allow you to browse into the zipped file.)
HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro

I downloaded and tried tvbhd027 and vbme0379 and they both worked fine on my system with Windows 7 and Premiere Elements 7 with Quicktime 7.7.3 installed.
Do you have Quicktime 7.7.3 (current version) installed?

Thanks for the guidance -
I installed Quicktime 7 and that resolved issue.
I was confused because certain Motion backgrounds and Motion Elements did work using the Windows 8 video application (without Quicktime installed on my PC).
Working now - Thanks again.
