I once had a friend who would place a towel over the tuning apparatus that he rented from the cable operator.

"Why do you do that?"

"Shhh. Don't talk so loud."

"Why not?"

"Because they are listening to us. But with that towel in place, they can't see us."

Somebody from that company should go to jail. There's no reason for that spying equipment. If you rent something, it doesn't matter if you use it or not, you are responsible for making the payments on time, and if you don't, the company can take back the equipment in legal ways. There's no reason to take a picture of somebody in their home sitting behind a rental computer after they miss payments. That is absolutely ridiculous. The purpose for the spy equipment is to get a peep of someone without their clothes on.
