Filming the 'new' Footloose Remake

They are filming the remake of 80's classic hit Footloose in the area where I work.
I was on my way home last night and noticed a bunch of production trucks in front of a local country dance club down the street from my office, called Cowboys. Turns out they are filming Footloose...

The house of Acworth Mayor Tommy Allegood and the Acworth Presbyterian Church have served as locations for the Footloose remake that continues shooting in the metro Atlanta area. If the footage isn't cut some Acworthians standing in as part of the congregation may get to see themselves on the big screen when the film hits theatres in 2011. The film's stars have been spotted at various locals in the Atlanta area; Dennis Quaid has hit Fox Bros BBQ and Paces 88, Andie McDowell was spotted at Luna boutique and Julianne Hough and Kenny Wormald dined recently at Wisteria on North Highland. Footloose will continue filming around the metro Atlanta area this month including a scene at the Senioa raceway on Friday October 1st and at Cowboys in Kennesaw on Monday and Tuesday, October 11th and 12th.

Some pretty classy stars are in the area I guess. Today is supposed to be the last day of shooting there and I don't have my camcorder with me
