Homemade Jamz' Blues Band

I've got a table right in front of the stage to see these kids perform this afternoon in an intimate club in Annapolis MD. I've been looking forward to this for months. Their dad made the muffler guitars =D>

Smokin' indeed! These kids have a bright future in front of them.

The videos are good too, nice multicamera work.

Those guitars are very cool!

And these guys are terrific too. And so young!

Well, the show was really good, and Janice reminded me that we're going to the same venue to see Mathew Sweet and Susanna Hoffs (The Bangels) perfrom their 70's cover CD tomorrow night. I highly recommend that CD, especially the Rasberries cover and the cover Of Melissa (the first song I learned to play on the guitar).

Ed, what is the lower neck on that guitar he is playing? Usually the double-neck units have a 6-string and a 12-string neck, but both are 6-string. It looks to me like it gives him a very awkward wrist twist playing the top one, and he never seems in the videos to play the bottom. Not that it seems to crimp his style :yh:

The lower neck was a six string like the upper one, but with a different tuning Bobby. He only played the lower neck a couple of times. He didn't seem to have a problem playing the the top neck. It's hard to see but the necks were spread out fairly well.

No. He said he's learning slide but he's not ready for prime time with it yet. I can't believe he's just 17.
