Uninstall Adobe AIR

I had installed a trial of Photoshop CS4 on my video PC, but decided not to upgrade from CS2 on my other PC. Given the economic climate and other stuff higher on the priority list, I will wait a bit and live with CS2 on the older PC for a while. I uninstalled it and it seemed to go OK, but...

Question: I think the CS4 installation installed Adobe AIR - can I safely remove that and not impact my PRE7? Or was AIR installed by the PRE7 installation, and if so do I need to keep it?

Adobe AIR was installed by PRE7 and you probably need to keep it. At the very least, it probably handles the Photoshop.com interaction, and probably the splash screen functionality and some of the share options.

Of course, you could uninstall it and tell us what breaks...
