And, ominously enough here in Brewer-town, it's raining!

Well, the county did pay several million dollars for that retractable roof for the stadium, so the game will go on.

But rain on opening day is still pretty ominous...

I go to Turner Field to watch the Braves on a few occasions every year ....

When the Cubs are in town :)

I grew up in Chicago, once a Cubs fan, always a Cubs fan!
If Ron Santo ever becomes a Braves fan then I might too

Went to opening night last night at the Nationals, great game and a nice new stadium, and my son and I are leaving in 1/2 hour for the opener in Baltimore. There's a little drizzle going on here, but hopefully it won't be raining in Bawmore.

Chuck, the Nats made every game of the home Cubs series a "Premium" game. the only series like that this year.

I had to give up my seasons tickets I had for 3 years due to 91 year old MIL living with us now became to much of a hassle to get to games. Wouldn't you know it this year the Yankees and Red Sox are coming to town. They are charging a premium for those games. Routinely when the Cubs or Cards are in town, they double the parking prices around the stadium. Chuck you wouldn't believe how many Cub fans are in Houston. Usually plenty of blue around the stadium. \:D/

It is a nice stadium Chuck. Although they have put up some tall condos and something else along the right side so you don't have a view of the Bromo-Seltzer tower anymore. The stadium was only about 3/4ths full yesterday and the crowd was a litle flat for an opener. I guess that's what 10 years of losing seasons does.
