Baby Einstein and Premiere Elements

Postby Catherine » Tue Mar 20, 2007 8:43 am

Hi all,

Julie Clark, founder of Baby Einstein, is a Premiere Elements user! Yep, she used an early version of PreEl (1994) to create her first few videos in her basement. She made $100,000 in revenue the first year in business. 4 years later she was making $20 million in revenue and then sold her company to Walt Disney.

I discovered this nugget of inspiration on the Microsoft Small Business Summit website ( http://www.sbsummit.com).

Could have been Premiere Standard, or just an early version of Premiere.

It's hard to find out much about the very early versions of Adobe Premiere, I think Adobe Premiere 4 was out around 1994. I did find this interesting article

from 1998.

Very interesting topic about Julie Clark though, just shows you what can be done :) Thanks for sharing Catherine :!:
