CompUSA - my local store clearance sale

I stopped at my local CompUSA store today in San Jose CA and they have big signs saying they are selling everything, including the furniture, and it is a final sale. Unfortunately the discounts are not very good for a closeout sale.

After searching around at their web site, I found a list of stores closing in the next 60 - 90 days at http://www.compusa.com/locations/closing_stores.asp

Maybe this will be useful to someone if there are items of interest available at one of these stores - especially if they are items which are not usually discounted.

I suspect that the store near me that is closing suffered from competition from Fry's because the Fry's prices are definitely lower. It is just that the CompUSA store was much more convenient for times when there was not a large dollar difference.

Thanks Barb, looks like the store by me is closing. They aren't in a very good location anyway, maybe I will check it out sometime next week.
