Ed I wonder if you could use your GoPro still camera and take a picture of the fish underwater before you pull it up.

Nice shots though.

Funny you should mention that camera Sidd. I loaded that camera earlier in the year. I plan to do a video of using it in your honor, but have not put my thoughts together on that. I’ll also need help. Stay tuned, I’ll put it together.

It’s on my home office shelf and I was staring at the camera earlier today.

Ed we must be on each others vibe list. I have been looking around to do some good urban blight video in black and white. Found a place that was just a complete mess. Did some recon video but when I when back the whole place was torn down and cleared. nothing but asphalt remaining. Aggh.

Sounds like fun, Ed. Glad you're getting some quality time, even if you didn't get the trout. Pro Tip: The closer you hold them to the camera the bigger they look! :fg:

Dave, my colleagues at work bought me a Tenkara rod as a holiday gift. Should be fun in the little streams near my house.

How about that. Now you're obligated to post some video ;) . Let us know what you think.

Ed I kinda expected that with your retro camera enjoyment you would also be retro fishing pole too. In my head I imagine a bamboo stalk with a string and hook attached ……. Hahahaha

Gilligan isle style

I would need a GoPro Dave, which I don’t have.

Sidd, I actually cut down and stripped some bamboo about 5 years ago to make for the Grandsons. The oldest will be nine this year so it’s time for that fishing pole!

Sounds like a great way to enjoy the grandson, fish, and capture the moment with your vintage GoPro still camera. :gl:
