Re: The history of rotoscopingI loved the rotoscoping projects that I have done, lots of work but great fun and results. Can this still be done today in current versions of editing software? I remember having to export as a filmstrip file and edit each frame individually.

Re: The history of rotoscopingThat was fun to watch. I never knew Cab Calloway had been involved in this. I was trying to remember some of the early cartoon TV shows when I was a kid that were starting to resemble realistic-looking characters. The only one that comes to mind at the moment is Jonny Quest. Compared to what we were used to this was amazing stuff. No hi-def in those days .

Re: The history of rotoscopingThat Rotoscoping was really interesting. And who did not love Jonny Quest every Saturday morning watching cartoons. Race Bannon was the man.... But how can you forget Clutch Cargo which was kind of a combo of animation.

Re: The history of rotoscopingVery interesting video. That guy was pretty clever to figure that out. Jonny Quest all the way, loved that cartoon!
Re: The history of rotoscopingI agree. Clutch Cargo still gives me scary dreams.

Re: The history of rotoscopingSpinners voice was just a bit to high pitched and it was a trippy cartoon.
