Hi, Folks, I'm new here and have one question maybe it will be offtopic, hope I don't break rules of the forum.
I am looking to buy Gimbal Stabilizer for my Canon 1DX Mark II for video recording. What brands or specific models would you recommend? I am a beginner in video, so i don't need crazy set up, not expensive.
Sidd is the resident Gimbal Guru, although not with that specific camera. Someone here is most likely using that model Canon so you should get some replies soon.
Sounds like the Zhiyun Weebill S Compact Gimbal Stabilizer is something that might work for you. Not sure what your budget is but this camera is cool because it has a couple of handles.

Looks interesting. I couldn't readily find the specs for weight capacity and acceptable camera dimensions for that, but I did find a camera compatibility list on the manufacturer's site. The 1DX Mark II wasn't listed, but my Nikon D850 was. I'll definitely keep that in mind when I'm ready for a stabilizer.
I really like that it has that second handle so you can use 2 hands the sling it down into low mode. Based on the video it looks like it has some powerful motors that can handle the weight pretty well.
