Re: How to Work from HomeThis is great, Sidd!
As many of you know, I've been working from home for over a decade now. I also have my daughter and my 6 year old grandson living with us. Maintaining a regular, undisturbed schedule is not always easy. Neither is remembering to get outside and get some regular exercise. I also work on weekends as a food tourguide, and that gets me out with people and helps keep my in touch with the rest of the world. One other recommendation I'd make? Wear shoes as often as possible, even if you're just sitting at your desk. Plantar fasciitis is the bane of people who go all day every day without shoes. Re: How to Work from HomeJust too many distractions here to ever work from home. Horses need feeding and care. Young dog needs constant attention or she destroys something. Need to cut logs for more firewood. Constant feeding of the wood stove. Yard needs mowing. Pastures need mowing. Clean up of snow storm damage still going on. Have to watch the stock market crash on TV. Need to check email constantly as I am expecting important stuff. Windows wants to update again so that stops all computing. Need to restart computer again. Then there is the wife to handle with loving care. Did I forget anything?
Edit to add: Need to go out and buy more toilet paper.

Re: How to Work from HomeI have worked primarily from home for over 6 years now and fortunate that I am able to do that. Still miss the "going to work" and most of what goes with that. There are great advantages and some disadvantages but you have to be able to focus and self motivate
