John Lewis Christmas Advert

Postby John 'twosheds' McDonald » Wed Nov 16, 2016 8:08 am

John Lewis is a famous (in the UK) department store.

Every year they produce a special advert for the Christmas season. Here is this year's version

It didn't take long for the parody to appear!!

Love the sense of humor! We had 2 Boxers, a mother & son. Great loving dogs. The female would have loved the trampoline. The second ad was funny too. What technical FX talent.

Well done! Both of them!

We had two gerbils living in a glass aquarium. No lid. They couldn't climb the walls nor jump high enough to get out. Their nesting bed was a coconut with about a 1 inch (25 - 26 mm) hole for a door. Every night the boys would go into the coconut and stuff scraps of newspaper over the hole, sort of like pulling up a blanket on the bed. One morning, right before Christmas, I noticed the piece of newspaper over their door had this text:

"Dear Santa,

Please bring me a trampoline," written in child-like handwriting.

I laughed so hard I woke them up and they popped out the door before I could get the camera to snap a pic!
Whatever you do, don't set your coffee cup adjacent to your turps cup. :CS:
