Re: Specs for running CamtasiaThat should be plenty of power for running Camtasia, Max.
HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro

And how about for this other machine of his? [ Post made via Mobile Device ] You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: Specs for running CamtasiaCamtasia takes very little power. So it kind of depends on which program you're using Camtasia to record. As long as your computer has enough power and RAM to run both Camtasia and the program you're recording, you'll be okay.
I've recorded Premiere Elements on a Windows computer with similar hardware specs to this second Mac with no problems. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Specs for running CamtasiaWow. You recorded Premiere Elements. Thank you fir the information.

Re: Specs for running CamtasiaAll the tutorials Chuck and I create for this site -- as well as the courses I record for lynda.com -- are recorded with Camtasia.

Re: Specs for running CamtasiaIs there much difference between the Mac and Windows versions of Camtasia? I would like to see a list of the differences so I can get my client set up. I use Windows and he uses Mac computers.

Google is your friend. https://www.techsmith.com/camtasia-pc-m ... rison.html AMD Ryzen 3900x 12C/24T, ASUS x570 mobo, Arctic Liquid Freezer ll 280, Win11 64 bit, 64GB RAM, Radeon RX 570 graphics, Samsung 500GB NVMe 980 PRO (C:), Samsung 970 Evo SSD (D:), Dell U2717D Monitor, Synology DS412+ 8TB NAS, Adobe CS6.
Re: Specs for running CamtasiaThank you, John. This is good to know. I'm glad my client doesn't think in terms of capturing keyboard input and screen drawing, because this comparison chart you sent me says Camtasia for Mac doesn't do that. And I was planning to show him how.

Re: Specs for running CamtasiaI would wonder if the graphics memory on either of those machines is enough to run Camtasia. I have had issues trying to capture with less than 1gb of video memory.
